Happy Easter!

Back from a wonderful dinner with extended family.  Yum!!  I officially weigh 64,318 lbs now. <sigh>

The Easter Bunny came this year, although I don't know how many more times he'll show up.  I kept asking the Lego King if he believed because he believed or did he believe because he just wanted to keep getting stuff.  His reply was, 'Mom?  What are you saying?!'  King Turd & I hid the eggs while he went upstairs & woke his sister up.  We are allowed to do this because the Easter Bunny gives us permission.  It's because he doesn't want the cats or dogs to eat the eggs after he goes to all the trouble to hide them.

In other news, Jill - our Mountain Feist ate the couch!!!  ATE IT!!!  Well technically she didn't digest it, she just tore apart one of the cushions.  Grrrrr!!! This poor couch has been through 3 kids & 2 dogs & a bazzillion cats & has yet to be torn up or eaten.  We get one rescue dog & she eats the couch.  Now she's wrecked all the fun for everyone.  No doggies on the couch!!  Not even Jack the Jack Russell who doesn't eat couches.  Just stuffed animals & that's only sometimes.... like when they are ferocious and they attack him first!  So that means no sitting on the couch with a warm fuzzy body curled up next to you.  That is so sad.  Shhhhh! Don't tell King Turd, but I think eventually he'll change his mind & allow them back up there once I get it repaired.  It's our secret!  Mkay?

To Commit or To Not Commit?

I follow this blog that I love.... it's an organizing blog/website thingy.... and the thing is, she's doing an organizing challenge.... and I REALLY ENJOY reading what she & everyone else has done & looking at the photos they post, but, But, BUT.... Do I want to jump on that bandwagon & commit?  What if I don't do it every week?  What if I don't like doing it every week?  What if I want to keep going & doing baby steps & decluttering/organizing stuff when I can?  What if I can't figure out how to upload pictures of before & after (since this blogging stuff is still new & I'm a dunce when it comes to tech-no stuff)?  Huh? Huh? Huh?.... pondering the possibilities....

Hide & Seek

So, the buzzer beeps on the dryer.  I go in to take out the blanket & the sleeping bag that I washed.  No blanket?  Where did it go?  I haul the sleeping bag out to look under it.  Guess where the blanket was hiding?  IN the sleeping bag!!!  How does laundry do that?  I mean, it was all the way to the bottom!  Sheesh!

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

Ok... so that's me.  I'm the liar, liar, pants on fire.  I thought I would be able to do this silly blog every day, but I've been busy.  So, I kinda, sorta forgot about it.  Not really, 'cause I just wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doin'.... so that's my excuse, yeah, that's my story & I'm stickin' to it.  Anyhoot, I asked King Turd if he would mind helpin' me out.  And he pointed out a few things that were right in front of my face... can you say duh?  He's my computer tech ... he figures out all this cool stuff & does it.  Then I, of course, bug him to death until he figures it out for me.  <evil grin> 

So I've been busy & I'll try & do better, but no promises this time.

It's a Nice Day For a White Wedding!!

A friend from Kindergarten is getting married today.  I've known her forever.  It's rainy, grey & blowy but, it's her day.  I know, that she's probably been freaking out the whole day & I hope she hasn't worked herself into being sick.  I'm excited for her, she's only known this poor sucker guy for 21+ years, and they only have 2 kids together.  Nothing like racing the relationship along at the speed of snail! 

I'm ready!  Got me some new shoes, and new blouse (thanks to the 50/50 raffle I won at work!).  Got me a fancy pedicure & manicure (thanks to KTOPM & Family for my BD present back in January - gifts are still appreciated).  Got my one grey hair dyed yesterday.  Got King Turd of Poop Mountain a new pair of pants & a tie.  He looks pretty schnazzy.  He's gettin' out of this date cheap!  Get to see a bunch of friends we've known since God invented dirt!  Fun, fun, fun!

Ha! Nothin's Happenin'

Ok, so I originally said that I would try to do this every day.  Well, that hasn't turned out, has it?  The excuse I'm using is that I haven't had time to figure it out yet.  What I'm doing now is watching youtube videos to see how people do it.  I've been trying to READ how to do it.  Nope, no luck.  I'm hoping that by WATCHING a video I can figure it out.

Ok... so I've been wanting thinking about blogging for awhile.... but I wasn't quite sure I could do it..... so... ahem.... I'm gonna try..... It might poop out in awhile.... or I might be able to do it.... and post a little every day.... naw... probably won't post every day I don't think..... But I saw that my friend, Kathy from over at, http://i-hate-camels.blogspot.com/, could do it.... so I figured I could try too..... Don't know if anyone will follow me.... at this point, don't care..... just gonna try new things & see where it takes me....
